An Unhappy Marriage: How to Know When it's Really Over

Unhappy_merried
It's a fact. There are a lot of people who feel unhappy in their marriage. But the real question many of them are asking themselves is, how do I know when my marriage is really over?

Is it when your spouse says, "I don't love you anymore?" Is it after an affair takes place? How do you REALLY know? Keep reading to find out how to identify the warning signs that often indicate your spouse has given up on your marriage.

First and Foremost: Has your spouse reached The Point of No Return?

What is the Point of No Return in a marriage? Is there such a thing?  After working with couples for over 11 years, I've identified a specific "path" that couples travel on the way to divorce. And at the end of this path is what I call...The Point of No Return.

But I'm getting ahead of myself...let me back up for a second.

In most cases, your marriage is NOT over when:

- Your spouse moves out
- When your spouse says the infamous, "I love you, but I'm not in love with you anymore"
- When your spouse threatens you with divorce

And believe it or not, in some cases, your marriage is NOT even over when...your spouse files for divorce.

Your marriage is NOT over when your spouse begs, pleads, argues, screams, storms out of the house or turns the whole family against you.

Quite the contrary, The Point of No Return in a marriage IS confirmed when your spouse looks at you as if s/he were dead.

There is no life in your spouse's voice and no life in his/her eyes. Your spouse doesn't get angry with you. S/he simply tells you when the divorce papers are going to be served. S/he's already gone to the court house, found an attorney and has a service date set for the divorce proceedings.

Your marriage is most likely over when your spouse has made complete lists of assets and debts with your both of your names on them.  Your spouse has already decided on the custody plan and cleaned out any bank accounts with their name and yours and closed all the credit cards that you share.

Your spouse has reached The Point of No Return when s/he already knows the courts require a 120 day waiting period and s/he has emotionally bolted him/herself in place for the long wait.

You've gone WAY beyond an "unhappy marriage" when your spouse has talked many times to the children about divorce and they are now either scared, angry, hurt, confused or emotionally shut down.

There's a good chance your marriage is over when your spouse doesn't care about how your children feel about it.  S/he is only acting for his/her own survival at this point and s/he has repeatedly convinced him/herself that "The kids are good, they'll be fine." S/he may have even said that to friends and relatives.

This is the REAL Point of No Return. I've found that when your spouse has reached the Point of No Return, no one can save your marriage at this point.  Not a priest, pastor or marriage counselor.

So How Did this Happen?

A marriage gets to this point because we live in a society that is convinced that once you are married, there is nothing you need to learn about marriage and nothing you need to practice.

All you need is love.

If you don't have love, then it's all your fault that your marriage failed.  Because of this belief, you kept on doing exactly what you always did...your version of love.

You treated your spouse the same way your father treated your mother...or vice versa. You kept on doing the same thing and kept on getting the same results.

Your spouse could not help you to help him/her. No matter how many times s/he told you how to meet his/her needs, you couldn't hear...you just couldn't understand.

How do I know this?

I know it because every single divorce is built on the same system.  When your emotional needs are not met in a marriage, anywhere from 1-3 of the situations listed below will begin to take place in your marriage.

Because you know virtually nothing about how to be married and how to support each other's needs, you have no way to stop these issues from happening:

- Affair
- Sex failure
- Communication break down
- No Loyalty
- In-Law problems
- Grew apart
- Fell out of love
- Blended family issues
- Abusive attitudes
- Depression
- Angry spouse
- No romance
- Ignores me
- Money problems
- Children problems
- Avoids me

If your spouse has not yet passed the Point of No Return, you can still save your marriage; there is still hope for the two of you. But you need to do something TODAY to improve your unhappy marriage. Believe me, I get emails daily with stories about marriages that took a turn for the worst in a matter of WEEKS.

These people simply waited too long and before they knew it, their spouse had reached the Point of No Return. So my message to you is DON'T WAIT. Do something for your marriage TODAY...before it's too late.

Choices In Wedding Music

Wedding_music

American weddings have come a long way over the years. In a society that is made up of people from so many different cultures, lifestyles, religions, and backgrounds, it is no surprise that the traditions in the wedding ceremony are as vastly different as well. Wedding music is no exception. From the ceremony itself to the party atmosphere of the reception, the wedding music sets the tone for the event.

Traditional Wedding Music:

At most weddings we can expect to hear selections that have come to be known as traditional wedding music. Titles like Ave Maria, the Minuet from Don Giovanni, and, of course, The Bridal Chorus and The Wedding March have long been the standard music for a wedding. Particularly religious ceremonies may include hymns like Amazing Grace and a Jewish wedding almost always includes a hora danced to a medley of tunes like Hava Nagila, and Siman Tov U Mazeltov.

The traditional wedding music holds a special place in our hearts and many think that a wedding ceremony is incomplete without it. The couple must decide whether or not to use traditional wedding music in the ceremony, as well as how much of it to use. If this part of the wedding tradition is important to you, then traditional wedding music is the way to go.

Modern Wedding Music:

Often couples will forgo the traditional wedding music selections and instead include modern or popular music in the wedding ceremony. This practice is so common that some titles are becoming traditional wedding song selections themselves. It is not unusual to hear When a Man Loves a Woman, Always and Forever, or I Will Always Love You sung, performed, or played at weddings today. Often more modern titles like these will appear in a ceremony along with the more traditional wedding music.

Avant-Garde Wedding Music:

As people’s attitudes change and varying forms of wedding ceremonies take place, the choice of wedding music often changes right along with them. Occasionally couples will choose music for their wedding that reflects the stark difference in their personalities and makes a unique and bold statement. While your wedding ceremony is primarily for the couple getting married, it is important to remember that it is an event attended by your family members as well. While you may wish to make an impression on your guests with your choice of music, you should still be cautious not to offend your respective grandmothers. As such, a selection by an artist like Marilyn Manson may never be appropriate for a wedding ceremony. This does not mean that your wedding music choices are restricted to traditional classics or sappy love songs. I once attended a very avant-garde wedding where three couples married in the same ceremony. It was a beautiful event and was made memorable by their choice of music. The couples strode down the aisle to the sounds of Pink Floyd’s Signs of Life, an instrumental track from the album A Momentary Lapse of Reason. It was a wedding ceremony that I will remember forever.

Cheap Engagement Rings

Cheap Engagement Rings
As long as weddings and engagements have been around, people have associated engagement rings with large sums of money. Often times, it is hard to find cheap engagement rings and this fact puts a damper on what should be a happy and exciting occasion. Something that you may not know is that there is a solution, cheap engagement rings. These cheap engagement rings can be just as spectacular and lovely as an expensive engagement ring. If you look in the right place, you can easily find a cheap engagement ring without compromising quality or beauty.

You see, generally, when we think of cheap engagement rings, we think green fingers, poor quality and lack of beauty. But it simply does not have to be that way. Some jewelers, both on and offline, take great pride in offering their customers high quality engagement rings at a fraction of the cost. Popping the question with a beautiful engagement ring does not have to cost you thousands of dollars.

Cheap engagement rings are not hard to find either, there are a multitude of online and offline jewelers that offer very affordable engagement rings. It is important that you look for a reputable jeweler who stands behind all of their engagement rings and offer a money back guarantee.

When it is time to begin your search for a cheap engagement ring, there are a few things you should keep in mind. The first thing you should do is determine what price would fit your budget. It is important that, once you create a budget for your cheap engagement ring, that you keep it. This will ensure that you do not strain yourself financially. You should then determine the type of metal you want. You should be aware that platinum is the most expensive of the metals, yellow or white gold is much cheaper. In fact yellow or white gold is about half the cost of a platinum engagement ring and looks just as beautiful.

When you are determining a diamond for your engagement ring, choose a small karat diamond. This is less expensive and works well with a budget. It is important that you know that cheap engagement rings do not generally come with a lot of designs, etchings or patterns. You should also keep in mind that the more work done on the creation of the engagement ring, the more money it will cost to purchase. You could also opt to purchase an imitation or synthetic diamond. While these are not real, good quality ones will generally look real. Your future bride may not be the type that relies on the diamond to represent your love for her, so an imitation or synthetic diamond may be perfectly acceptable.

No matter if you choose a cheap engagement ring with a real diamond or a “fake” diamond, the true spirit of the occasion should be remembered. Choose a cheap engagement ring that will reflect the beauty of your true love and your love for her.

Bridal Set a gift for a lifetime

Bridal_set
Being a bride is the most memorable occasion in a woman’s life.  On the special day, every bride wants to look her best and takes care that everything about her is perfect.  The glow on the bride’s face is natural and comes from the happiness within.  It all starts with those nice smelling bathing salts, the herbal treatments, the beautifully created wedding dress, the coiffured tresses, the enhancement of the facial features with the required make up, and finally the perfect jewelry to adorn the feminity of the bride, completes the bridal look.

The perfection of her look depends on finding the bridal set perfect bridal jewelry or makeityourring diamond engagement rings.  The bride may find a perfect necklace to wear but may not find the matching earrings or the right bangles or bracelet or even ring to go with it.  A bridal set resolves this problem and saves a lot of time.  Bridal sets are jewelry made with the intention of putting together everything for that special occasion.  A bridal set comprises of a necklace, earrings, bangles/bracelets, and a ring that match and go well together.  All a bride needs to do is select the bridal set that goes with her look on the wedding day.

These bridal sets come in a variety of metals, like gold, silver, white gold, and platinum.  There are plain precious metal bridal sets and there are bridal sets set with precious stones, like diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires etc.  The choice of the type of bridal set depends on the expense and the affordability of the bride.

If you are the bride, you will have to take utmost care in selecting the bridal set.  First thing is the set of course, but don’t buy it just because you love the jewelry set.  The bridal set by itself may be beautiful, but you must see if it matches your dress.  Even a most expensive and beautiful wedding gown can look bad if worn with the wrong bridal set.  You don’t want any such thing to mar the occasion. Look into all factors when selecting the bridal set, like the style, quality and affordability.

Bridal sets look good because they were meant to be used together. All major jewelers stock several styles of bridal sets to suit all budgets. You can even use your bridal set after the wedding day.  When going out on those romantic dinners, you can wear just your earrings or you can choose to wear just the bracelet at times, or even the necklace.  Just because it is a bridal set, you don’t have to keep it aside like you do the wedding dress.  How would it feel wearing that jewelry on your first anniversary and reliving the special moments.

Make sure the bridal set does not completely overshadow the wedding gown.  The bridal set should fit in the theme of the wedding.  If the wedding dress is made up of a certain type of crystals, then your bridal set cannot be of pearls.  Keep in mind the overall look when buying jewelry for the big day.  Once that is taken care of, all you need to do is experience the feeling of satisfaction and thrill with the numerous compliments coming your way.

Backyard Honeymoons

Honeymoon_yard
A small honeymoon budget does not mean you have to sacrifice romance. Nowhere is it written that you must travel to an exotic island and stay in a luxury resort. Maybe your idea of romance is snuggling in the same bedroll while camping out under the stars together.

Who knows? Only the two of you!

For super cheap honeymoons try looking in your own backyard. I don't mean "literally" your backyard, but I would be willing to bet that not far from you, there is a perfect little honeymoon getaway.

* If you are from a small town, go to the city. Enjoy the hospitality of an upscale hotel for a couple of nights. Be pampered!

* If you are from the city, get away from it all to a secluded little bed and breakfast inn on a lake somewhere.

Having traveled Canada and the United States all my life, I can tell you that the entire coastline of our North American continent is wondrous. Whether you are in Alaska, Maine, British Columbia, California or Florida, the beaches are breathtaking. Each has it's own special qualities that make it unique and beautiful.

You may be the type that enjoy polar bears, harp seals and whale watching in Alaska. Perhaps you are the outdoors type. Check out the lazy sea lions and try salmon fishing in British Columbia. While you are there, turn around and look at the mountains! They are amazing! Here in Georgia, you can watch and actually feed the dolphins that frolic in the ocean with you as you swim. If you are lucky, they will let you touch them.

A "beach" doesn't necessarily have to be on the ocean. There are some fabulous lakes that offer spectacular views - The Great Lakes for example.

If you can't get near water, choose a hotel with a great pool.

The point is, depending on your personal style, there is a "beach" for everyone!

Too often we are so busy looking for something better that we miss the obvious beauty right under our noses.

Choose that spot within driving distance from you and go for it! Remember, cheap honeymoons are where you find them. They don't have to cost thousands of dollars to be intimate and romantic.

By the way, while you are honeymooning - tell the world! You will be surprised at how many little perks and extras come your way once people know you are newlyweds! Use it!

5 Tips On How To Take Better Digital Jewelry Photography

Jewelry_photograpy
1) Focus your camera
In order to ensure your images are sharp, make sure you know how to focus your camera. Digital cameras with auto focus are often difficult to focus precisely, especially when shooting small objects. Make sure your read your owner's manual and understand how your camera's auto focus operates. Most digital cameras are designed to easily focus on large objects but have difficulty on small objects. It is often useful to put your camera in spot focus mode. Spot focus will give you more control over what part of a scene the camera is actually focusing on.

2) Use a tripod
Even the slightest movement while taking a picture will cause motion blur. The closer you get to an object the more obvious the motion blur becomes. Using an inexpensive tripod will make a big difference in the sharpness of your images. For really sharp images it makes sense to invest in a good, sturdy tripod. If your camera has a remote shutter release then use it, if not then use the camera's built-in timer to minimize camera shake.

3) Put your camera in aperture priority mode
To get the largest area of your subject in focus, it is good to set your camera in aperture priority mode and set the aperture to the highest number possible. The closer you get to your subject, the more important this becomes.

4) Use soft lighting
Your camera's built-in flash will rarely give good results for product photography. For soft lighting either shoot outside on an overcase day or use a light tent like the EZcube, Cubelite, or use a soft box.

5) Use image editing software
Even inexpensive software like Photoshop Elements or ACDSee can make your product photography much easier. It may seem like it's faster to use an image exactly as it was shot. But in reality, it is difficult to shoot an image precisely how you would like to appear in its final form. Image editing software allows you to crop an image, adjust it's exposure, sharpen the image and then resize it, often in less than 60 seconds.

The biggest difference between an amateur's product snapshot and a professional's product image are sharpness and lighting. Steps 1,2, and 3 will improve the sharpness of your images while Step 4 will improve your lighting. A minute spent editing an image will improve it further. Because these few steps seem so basic, it's tempting to ignore them. However, if you take time to follow them, you will see a huge improvement in the quality of your photos.

Artificial Diamonds

Diamond_rings
Diamonds as they say are a girl’s best friend and buying the perfect diamond ring should not be a problem for anyone. Usually any kind of makeityourring diamond engagement diamond ring will do just so long as you get a big diamond on the ring you will be fine. However there have been people that feel an artificial diamond or man made diamond are different from mined diamonds and therefore they feel that the quality will suffer because of this. However there is nothing to fear because an artificial or man made diamond is still chemically the same as a mined diamond.

In fact it can be very hard for people to tell the difference between an artificial diamond and a mined diamond. This can create problems for many people because at the end of the day if you are going to treat someone to a diamond ring then you are going to want the real thing and nothing artificial. While it is unlikely that artificial diamond rings will replace mined diamond rings there still remains the fact that these man made diamond rings are still much cheaper then their mined counterparts.

Diamonds do look nice on a ring and because it is very hard to tell the difference from a man made diamond to a real diamond this means that any ring with a diamond on can look very nice. Diamonds can also withstand high temperatures a diamond can withstand temperatures reaching and including 1100C when it gets hotter then that the diamond will then vaporize.

Diamonds can be made to fit into almost anything for example man made diamonds can be made small enough so that they can be made into earrings, pendants, cufflinks and even bracelets. The possibilities that you have with diamonds are almost endless they can be made to fit into anything and you can visit any jeweller and just see all the diamonds that they have on display. These will range from earrings to engagement and wedding rings. Of course diamonds do not come cheap and if you want to purchase a piece of jewellery that contains diamonds then you will have to pay a pretty penny.

Diamonds are without a doubt a beautiful piece of jewellery to look at. If you are lucky enough to own a piece of jewellery with a diamond in it then you will usually only wear it for a special party. Just so you can see your friends admire your stunning piece of diamond jewellery.

Advantages to Online Dating

Online_dating_tipas
A quick foray into a bar or a nightclub reveals some of the major shortcomings of looking for romance in such places.  A combination of booming bass and shrieking laughter bombards you aurally, while a potent mix of cigarette smoke and spilt beer assails your olfactory senses.  Eventually, amidst the human chaos of the locale, a figure from the opposite side of the room piques your interest.  You fight your way through the crowd in the general direction of him/her and suddenly find yourself screaming in their ear because of the aforementioned noisy surroundings.  The best case finds you exchanging hastily-scrawled phone numbers with the other person or following them out the door, while the worst case finds you feeling rejected and dejected.  Even the “middle” options are less than desirable; often, the person that attracted you physically does not do the same mentally or emotionally, and you’re stuck at an impasse with a minimum of things to talk about.

The truth is that dating in the traditional sense and settings is a distinctly hit-or-miss affair, and a largely impersonal one at that.  You find yourself drawn to another person not because of their intellect or their personality but rather because they are physically attractive.  As anybody who has lived and loved can attest, meaningful relationships are not built solely on the foundation of physical attraction.  You don’t know the person at the other end of the bar from a stranger, however, and thus you have no idea if their beauty is in fact skin deep.  Furthermore, even an indication that there is something else beneath the surface is hardly cause for relaxation; given the uncertainty of the other party’s history, there is no telling what sort of baggage you might be leaving with.

Online dating offers solutions to these problems in many cases.  For one thing, instigating romantic contact online markedly increases in your favor the odds that the other party is interested.  Think about it:  How many times have you browsed online classifieds without the barest trace of purpose or desire?  Having a receptive partner is half of the battle in itself.  Beyond that, online dating increases the likelihood of finding something beyond the initial attraction to sustain prolonged interest.  That’s not to say that physical attraction plays no role in online dating; photos are often associated with online personals, and as in life the most powerful impulses are often the visceral ones.  However, the pace of online dating allows you to find out a bit more about the other party than you would be able to in a different setting.  By the time you read their personal ad and their writing and (hopefully) exchange correspondence with them once or twice, you will probably have a decent idea as to whether the other person is the type that you would like to continue contact with.  If no, it is an easy affair to cease contact since neither party is intimately involved.  If yes, however, the base for a successful relationship has already been laid by communication.

Suffice it to say, online dating today has lost its “taboo” status.  Rather, it represents a viable alternative to those singles who are tired of continually finding the wrong person in the wrong environment.

The Advantages of Online Dating

Online_dating
With the advantages of online dating becoming more obvious all the time, it’s no wonder the industry itself is continually growing. Gone are the days of smoke filled bars and clubs trying to get to know someone. Online dating gives you the opportunity to view a single’s profile before you have even contacted them.

Getting to know someone from the comfort of your own home is an affordable luxury with online dating. There is no guesswork involved either of whether the other person is single, because they are all single. And they are all there to find a compatible partner.

Arrive home from work, login, and check your inbox. There’s no need to wait until Friday night, or Saturday night to start dating. There are no unsociable hours online, it’s a twenty four hour lifestyle.

With no need to dress up as no one can see what an online dater is wearing, there is no need to spend hours getting ready. Comfort is the only concern when dating online.

Every detail of a prospective date is there in black and white. The things they love in life, their desires, and what they want out of life. An insight into someone’s personality is instantly recognisable.

Once someone has found an interesting looking profile, an e-mail or instant message is all it takes to get some possible conversation going. If the recipient likes the look of the senders profile then an online relationship is ready to bloom.

After getting to know someone the first date can be at that new coffee bar that’s in need of a test. A nice quiet date to continue the connection someone has made online. Or maybe an excuse is needed to try out the new restaurant in town.

Evenings out with friends can be spent enjoying yourself again. There’s no need to spend the night trying to find someone to start a relationship with. You will have a new air of confidence about you. And when all your friends find out the “how’s” and “where’s”, they will soon be enjoying the advantages of online dating as well.

The easiest way to meet women is to be approachable and make new friends. This way you will meet more people and some of them might have female friends they will set you up with. You will be exposed to new places and activities, which might lead to meeting women.

There are guys that know how to date, guys that haven't dated in years, or others that has never been successful with women. Whatever the case, they all should follow some common rules for to have a successful date.

Finally you have a date with the beautiful girl you look after for some good time and she never seen you before. But, the miracle happened and you have the chance to meet her and impress her at a date. So, to not fail in you date watch out these important dating rules.

1. Try to look your best and be punctual on dates.Get your hygiene and stiling sorted out. Most women prefer smartly dressed guys. Not over the top, at the height of fashion, but cleanly turned out in suitable clothes.  So your appearance can be vital.Never be late for a date unless you have a very good reason. Women don't like to be kept waiting even less for a man .

2. Sort out your job if is one you are proud of and get your knowledge levels up. Most women love a guy to show that he can be in charge. So you should have every little detail taken care of and organized. It shows that you are capable, and attentive, qualities much sought after in a potential mate.

3. Pay attention to her. Be interested , stop talking and start listening. You are on a date with her to get to know each other, use that time

effectively, to find out as much about each other as possible. Give her your undivided attention. Ask  about her, show interest  in her. Everyone loves to talk about themselves, her included. Allow her to talk, and then listen. This is one of the greatest compliments you can give another person.  Also you should watch the details, nothing shows better that   you are a sensitive, caring man that try all to make her feel comfortable on date.

4. Flatter and compliment your date on the way she look and how she is dressed. She made a lot of effort for to look wonderful on your date. So, it's good for her to hear that she looks good and is beautiful.

8. Be confident. Confidence can open many doors for you. When you are confident she will have more trust in you and your abilities.

The most importing thing at all on date is to be your self. Thats because after the date there will be ordinary days to come  and it have never paid to play someone youre not on the date. The best thing to do is to show the other person right from the beginning what kind of man you are or it will never work.

5 Reasons Not to Read Online Dating Advice

Online_dating_advice
What a strange title for an article, I write online dating advice so why would I encourage people not to read it?

Clearly I believe there is some good dating advice on the internet or I wouldn't waste my time writing dating advice and tips but I want people to think about what they are reading and who the author is before they take anything they read as gospel.

Here are 5 things to carefully consider before you take the advice of dating "experts".

1. Everything written is an opinion from someone with a given history. Just google "article writing+fee" and see how many people in countries like India offer to write articles for website owners for a fee. India is simply one example but life there is somewhat different on the dating scene and their knowledge may well come from watching re-runs of Baywatch and Dallas. Check who is writing the website content, do their articles all sound as though they are written by the same person, are they writing from a personal perspective and if so what is their dating history?

2. The words "expert" and "guru" are over-used and I rarely read advice from anyone calling themselves either. What qualifies someone as an expert at dating? If they have been constantly dating for 30 years then they either have commitment issues or are very bad at dating. Just take Dr Phil, would I read his advice on how to have a long and happy marriage? Absolutely but would I read his advice on dating in your 40's in 2008? What does he really know about the current dating scene, he isn't dating.

3. Dating advice that includes comments like "I can make you attractive to men/women even if you are fat and ugly". Would you go into a clothes shop and accept advice from a shop assistant that called you fat and ugly? I doubt it, so why would you accept being insulted simply because it's online. False promises of making you attractive to the opposite sex rely on your lack of confidence in order to get you to buy their book or video or whatever they are selling. Take advice from people that respect who you are and aren't desperately trying to sell you something.

4. Beware of the bitter and twisted. Blogging is a platform for many types of people but that includes those that simply want to rant about their bad experiences. There are many dating blogs that simply catalogue a serious of disastrous dates, call men names and generalise about the opposite sex, particularly written by women in their 40's but I have yet to read one that stops and asks herself if perhaps she is the problem. Avoid these blogs, they usually have no real constructive advice to offer.

5. The ones that state "I am the same as you so my advice is best for you". Don't just read advice from people of the same age, gender and situation, much can be learned from reading the thoughts of the opposite sex and older people that have been there, done that and bought the t-shirt. If you are recently divorced then don't read advice by someone who is also recently divorced and trying to date again, find a writer that has been divorced, began dating again and is now in a long term relationship they have the experience you want to hear about.

1st Time Meeting After Chatting Online

Online-dating-ways-you-can-make-your-online-profile-more-interesting
Technology has always been there to make lives of people easier. In fact, thanks to technology the world of emotions has also been conquered. Don’t try to think dirty here folks. What I’m talking about is the love connection that can happen through online dating sites and chatting rooms or software such as ICQ, MSN or MIRC and Yahoo Messanger.

Thanks to these websites and chat software people have been given a better chance to find their partner. This is because people are given the chance to be connected wherever they might be. All different cultures and walks of life are able to meet with a simple click of the keyboard. In short a person has got a better chance to meet his or her partner because of the greater number of daters. It is also easier to meet people online thanks to online date sites and chat rooms.

After chatting for a while and getting to know one another, it would be natural to meet. It would be a pretty shallow relationship if both of you are happy to be forever just chatting. Both persons may just be really looking for someone to talk to.

Finding love through the internet offers the two sides to get intimate right away. This is because it is easier to be yourself when chatting online. Just imagine that you can say anything stupid and you won’t see the other person thinking that it’s corny. Instead most chatters, even though you are pretty corny just type LOL (laugh out loud).

Because of the perception that you have built about yourself and the other person, meeting them becomes very hard. This is because of the perception you have given to him or her during chatting could not be really you. Both of you will then have higher expectations of who the real person really is.

Another problem that online chatting could present is the confidence of a person. Since it is easier to talk online, a person who is very shy or timid may have a hard time keeping up with who he or she really is. The person instead is like living both worlds.

When also meeting for the first time after long periods of chatting that could last in the wee hours of the morning, is being able to adjust. Both of you would have to figure out that it would be harder to talk on real life because of certain other factors involved. You are now both able to see the person’s mannerisms. This will be the toughest part that you would have to overcome. Once you have gone past this, the rest will be easier.

It is suggestible though to meet sooner rather than later. When meeting earlier at the chatting stages, this prevents both person having higher expectations. This also helps both parties to decide right away whether they are just better of friends or continue to develop the relationship. This helps both parties prevent disappointment and heartaches.

Body Jewelry - The latest Fashion Statement

Body_jewelry
The idea of body jewelry has come a long way since the post modern preference for ear piercing on women.   Today's generation, believe it or not, much like ancient societies throughout history, have gone to the more extreme multiple piercing of various body parts.

If you ask around, you'll get a lot of different opinions about body piercing, both pro and con.   Many people use piercings to help express who they are and what they're about, completely endorsing this type of adornment and what they endorse.   However, you'll also get people who are completely against body piercings and couldn't imagine who in their right mind would allow something to be permanently placed through their skin.  Although both sides seem to have valid points, the reality is that many of the piercing holes will close up as long as they're not made too large.

Body piercing, the process of puncturing your skin in various locations and placing a metal jewelry adornment through the hole is a very ancient statement.  Even today, many indigenous cultures practice body piercings for both adornment and as a status symbol.   Though there has been a recent resurgence in native and tribal body piercings, most modern body piercings are done as purely a form of adornment.

So, should you get a body piercing?  The answer varies greatly from person to person, but regardless of who you are there are a few things to consider.   Answering these questions honestly and openly will help you realize whether or not body piercing is right for you.   Are you particularly attached to a certain image that means something to you, or do you want to get a body piercing merely for the sake of getting a body piercing?  Most people who are satisfied with their body piercings years on down the road are happy because they have made this decision not because of peer pressure but is something meaningful to them personally.  Can you see yourself with the same body piercing when your seventy-five years old?  It'll probably still be there.

Since a body piercing is permanent, don't just waltz into the nearest body piercing parlor, look at the flash in the case, and pick out something you like.   Though this can be a good technique for getting ideas, there’s no rush to get it done immediately.

One final thought about body piercing is that it can cause some unexpected side effects.  Do you think it will matter to your future significant other that you've pierced a certain part of your body?  Understand that this decision "may" limit your choice of partners at least a little.

Next up on the unintended consequences list is that body piercing can dull the senses of the pierced body part.  This may not be important today be understand that the decision is long term -- lifetime -- and losing sensitivity in private areas can be something that might be missed later in life.

Lastly, there's the issue of loose stools.  That's right, we're talking about leakage.  A couple of piercings usually are not a problem but if you tend to go all out and get quite a few, the risk of anal leakage goes up with each piercing.  The reason is that the metal from the piercings tend to leach into your body and increase the level of certain heavy metals.  Nickel is especially prone to this effect and can cause leaking anal problems

Although the problems are something to consider, if the desire to have piercings for the right reasons continues to interest you, then take a deep breath and go for it.

If you have an image that you're attached to, decide where you want it on your body.   Most people who get body piercing ed, even those with large body piercings covering their arms, legs, or back, will avoid getting body piercings on their hands, neck, or face, due to the fact that many employers frown on body piercing and because body piercings which are always visible can make it tougher to get hired at certain jobs.   Think of how visible you want your body piercing to be; should it be seen when you're wearing short sleeves?  What about shorts?

Finally, make sure you get body piercing ed at a respectable body piercing parlor.   All of the needles should be sterile, as should the general working conditions.   Be picky about your artist as well, view his or her portfolio and see a sketch of your design before getting inked, since you should be 100% happy with your body piercing.

6 Most Common Diamond Scams

Most-common-diamond-scams
When it comes to diamonds, there are numerous scams to avoid. Most scams are minor, but there are some major ones that come up from time to time concerning the buying and selling of diamonds. Scams occur simply because most people who buy diamonds – for whatever reasons – don’t know that much about diamonds. Therefore, they are easily fooled.

Jewelry stores  like to show their diamonds in bright lights. Lights make diamonds shine. Ask to see the diamond in a different, darker type of lighting as well. Jewelry also stores often run ‘fluorescence’ scams to varying degrees. Referring to a diamond as a blue-white diamond is such a scam. A blue-white diamond sounds very unique and special, but in fact, this type of diamond is of lesser quality – even though the jeweler will try to make you think you are getting something special.

A common scam that most makeityourring diamond jewelry stores participate in is the Carat Total Weight scam. The tag on the piece of jewelry, usually a ring, only states the total carat weight of all diamonds in the piece, instead of listing the total weights separately for each diamond. This leads consumers to believe that the main diamond in the piece is actually bigger than it is. Ask what the total carat weight of the center stone is. Also beware of fractions. Jewelry stores are allowed to round off diamond weights. This means that if the jeweler tells you that it is a ¾ carat diamond, it is probably between ½ and ¾ carat – but closer to ¾.

Some truly unscrupulous jewelers target those who want appraisals on diamonds that were given to them as gifts or that were purchased elsewhere. They will try to tell you that the diamond is worthless, or worth less than it actually is worth – and offer to take it off your hands or trade it for a much better diamond, along with the cash to make up the difference. This is called low balling. Get a second, third, and even a forth opinion before taking any action.

Jewelry stores often run ‘fluorescence’ scams to varying degrees. Referring to a diamond as a blue-white diamond is such a scam. A blue-white diamond sounds very unique and special, but in fact, this type of diamond is of lesser quality – even though the jeweler will try to make you think you are getting something special. Jewelry stores also like to show their diamonds in bright lights. Lights make diamonds shine. Ask to see the diamond in a different, darker type of lighting as well.

Another common dirty trick is to switch the diamond you have chosen and paid for with one of lesser quality and value when you leave it to be set in a piece of jewelry, or leave a diamond ring to be sized. The only way to avoid this is to do business with one trustworthy jeweler. Avoid jewelers that you have not done business with in the past.

There are many more scams that jewelry stores commonly pull on unsuspecting consumers. Just use your best judgment, and purchase your diamonds with the utmost care and consideration.

Celebrities and their Diamond Engagement Rings

Beyoncering_for_africa
What better way to show the world that you are in love than by the act of giving and receiving a diamond engagement ring? With many actresses and other famous women sporting bigger and sparklier diamond rings, celebrity engagements have become a delight for the jewelry lover. The size of the diamond is not necessarily the key as to what makes some of these rings so famous and recognizable, rather it seems to be a combination of the engagement ring itself and the famous lady it is associated with. The history of diamond engagement rings Maximillan I of Austria gave the first diamond engagement ring on record to Mary of Burgundy in 1477. He had the ring commissioned to unite their two houses and make their marriage a unifying symbol to the country. The smallest diamond engagement ring ever made was given to Princess Mary who was married by proxy to the Dauphin of France in the year 1518. Princess Mary was two years old at the time. Throughout history diamond engagement rings have become larger, more elaborate, and have included a wide variety of other jewels and metals. Diamond engagement rings settings can be made of silver, platinum, white or yellow gold or a mixture of these elements. Famous ladies and their engagement rings Celebrities and other famous people influence the look and style of many aspects in fashion and also set trends. Diamond engagement rings are no exception to this rule. The following is a partial list of the famous ladies and their equally famous engagement rings: Royalty:

  • Queen Elizabeth II received an engagement ring from Prince Phillip that was made from diamonds from his mother's tiara.
  • Grace Kelly was given a 12 carat emerald-cut diamond engagement ring from Prince Rainier.
  • Lady Diana was engaged with a ring made of an 18 carat blue oval sapphire that was circled by fourteen diamonds.

Actresses:

  • Elizabeth Taylor was engaged to her third husband, Michael Todd, with an emerald cut diamond that weighed almost 30 carats. However, she is more known for her other pieces of jewelry, one more striking than the other: the 39 carat Krupp diamond, the 69.42 carat pear-shaped Taylor-Burton diamond and the 17th century heart-shaped Taj Mahal diamond.
  • Priscilla was engaged to Elvis with a 3.5 carat diamond engagement ring that was circled by another 21 smaller diamonds and diamond chips.
  • Sharon Stone was given a three diamond, 3 1/2 carat emerald-cut diamond engagement ring by Phil Bronstien.
  • Catherine Zeta-Jones' promise to Michael Douglas was finalized with a 10 carat antique marquise diamond estimated at amost $2 million.
  • Joan Collins got a heart-shaped diamond ring in a nineteenth-century setting from husband Percy Gibson.

Pop stars:

  • Madonna received from Guy Ritchie an antique Edwardian three-stone diamond ring with a decorative platinum band. The Neil Lane ring was supposed to represent their family: mother, father and son Rocco.
  • In the case of Toni Braxton, drummer Keri Lewis designed a stunning 4.5 three-stone diamond ring with an oval-shaped center stone and 2 heart-shaped diamonds on the sides.
  • Paris Hilton, even though not a pop star but a diva anyway, received 2 diamond engagement rings from billionaire Paris Latsis, a $5 million 24 carat canary diamond ring and a $2.1 million 15 carat white diamond ring.
  • Britney Spears has two engagement rings also: one that she bought for herself before the wedding, a $40,000 4 carat cushion-cut diamond ring with a platinum pave setting, and one that she received 9 month after the marriage from husband Kevin Federline.
  • Christina Aguilera became engaged to Jordan Bratman after he presented a $54,000 20-carat diamond engagement ring designed by jeweler Stephen Webster.
  • Whitney Houston sports a stunning 4 carat oval-shaped center stone with trillions on the sides which she received from Bobby Brown.

Replica diamond engagement rings Of course there is the very famous pink diamond ring that Ben Affleck gave to Jennifer Lopez. This 6 carat radiant shaped pink diamond quickly caught the attention of the public and has become a highly sought after replica. It is completed with a platinum band as well as three baguette white diamonds on each side. The pink diamond engagement ring is reported to have been purchased for $1.2 million in 2002. The ring, while easily identified is also very feminine and modern looking. Replicas of the famous pink diamond ring are now available for a moderate price. The cost of the replicas depends on the quality of the stones and the materials used in reproducing the pink diamond engagement ring. Some replicas are styled as more antique diamond engagement rings. These rings have an everlasting quality and symbolize tradition and heritage. The recent engagement of Camilla Parker Bowles in February of 2005 featured such an antique engagement ring. The platinum ring has an emerald-cut center diamond with three diamond baguettes on each side. This ring originally belonged to the Queen Mother and is believed to be valued at over $1 million. Since few people can afford the original item, there will always be a market for replicas of these one of a kind diamond engagement rings. The quality of the replicas varies, as does the price. It is important to note that the styles of diamond engagement rings that are popular with celebrities will soon become the styles that are sought after by the not quite so rich and famous.

Diamond - The Brightest Carbon

Diamond
The brightest part in a woman’s life, diamond, is an allotropic form (different form) of darkest of the elements in the periodic table. The most fought for of all the gems, diamonds, have a long romancing history. Welcome to the exciting world of diamonds.

Origin and Diamond Market

Diamond has a bloody history right from Cleopatra to the famed Koh-I-Noor which at the earliest recorded date, 1526 AD, weighed 793 carats before being reduced to 186 carats by the lapidary Borgio.

Today De Beers monopolizes diamond production and trade which is around 130 million carats annually and in addition. A diamond is weighed in units of carats and a carat originally meant the weight of one carob seed. The present standard carat is, however, metric and equals 0.2 gm or 1/42 of an ounce.

How to Buy Diamonds

Diamonds mined out (mainly in South Africa and Botswana) can’t be sold directly as these are raw.

The 4Cs which stand for carat, clarity, color and cut of diamonds, determine the quality and price of these gems.

Carat: A carat equals 0.2 gm in weight and further divided into 100 points. This means a quarter carat equals 25 points and is written as 0.25 ct. It is hard that one can avail a diamond weighing a carat or above these days. It is almost always in fractions of carats now.

Clarity: Clearer the diamonds higher are the costs. Tiny inclusions (impurities due to presence of other minerals) mask the brilliance. While costing, the numbers of inclusions, their colors, positions are considered. Fewer the inclusions, greater is the reflection and higher is the value. Clarity is graded from I3 to VVS1, starting from Very Noticeable Inclusions to Very, Very Slightly Included, in decreasing order.

Color: The best color for diamond is having no color. White light passed through it will come out in rainbow colors. Although most diamonds look colorless they are slightly yellow or brown with subtle shades. Proximity to being colorless raises the value.

Cut: Cut is the dictator of a diamond’s value. A best cut diamond reflects all the light without allowing it to pass through giving it the brightest of shines. The best cut diamond has 57 facets (cut and polished faces) with 33 of them being on the top half, crown, and the rest on the pavilion, bottom half. Mathematically this gives the total reflection. The best cut diamond will have a round shape with the pavilion having an included angle 600 albeit there is a complex guidance chart for cutting diamonds.

April Celebrities Share The Diamond Birthstone With You

Diamonds_birthstones
If you are still young enough to admit you have birthdays and your birthday falls in April then you already know the diamond is April’s birthstones.  Celebrities who already have a love affair with diamonds are even more apt to be seen wearing diamonds if their birthday is in April.  There are many April celebrities that share the diamond birthstone with you.

But did you know that the diamond is also deep in mystical powers from ancient times?  It is said to enhance ones competence, trust and love relationships.

Diamonds also have a long history in their medicinal qualities.  During ancient times diamonds were believed to heal illness.  Diamonds were first placed into the bed to warm the diamond to enhance their healing qualities.

It is even said that over the centuries Cupid’s arrows were tipped in diamonds and thus it earned its reputation as the perfect gift of love.

The white and brilliant hues diamonds signify life, joy and innocence.  But really diamonds come in a wide range of colors other than white which includes shades of gray, brown, yellow, blue, red, and green.

Pre 1400’s diamonds were only available to those of royal blood who were the only people able to wear the symbol of courage and invincibility.  During the mid 1400s The Archduke Maximillian gave a diamond ring to Mary of Burgundy beginning the long tradition of diamond engagement rings which is still carried on today.

The practice of wearing a diamond engagement ring on the third finger often referred to as the ring finger began in Egyptian times because it was believed the vein of love ran through this finger directly to the heart.

Besides being the birthstone for April there is no gift that is more symbolic of love than a diamond and no more convincing promise of eternal and everlasting love.

Ancient Greeks believed that diamonds were splinters of stars that had fallen from the sky making a visit to earth.  Others revered to diamonds as Gods Tears or dew drops.  The origin of the first diamond has never been solved and remains a mystery to geologists and sciences even today.

Initially geologists thought that India was the first river-bed source for mining diamonds.  The ancient Hindus called the diamond Vajra which means lightening.  It earned this name because of its incredible strength and the light rays it emitted.  Besides being the most beautiful gem they are also the hardest substance found on earth.  Diamonds have been mined Botswana, Australia, Russia and South Africa, and recently Canada has been added to that list.

April does have an alternative birthstone which is the opal.  Unlike diamonds which are simply crystallized carbon, opals are found deep within the earth where the intense heat develops this beautiful stone.

So even though there are many April celebrities that share the diamond birthstone with you the diamond is a celebrity and star all on its own.  Recognized back to ancient times for its symbol of love and its beautiful brilliance.

Be a smart diamond buyer

Engagement_rings_for_women
Who would ever thought that clarity grading a diamond is much easier than anyone could ever imagine. Two things which we should be concerned of are:

Category 1: Diamonds with inclusion1 and blemishes2 which is visible to our naked eye.

The easiest way to know whether a diamond is of good quality is by simply asking the jeweler, but due to scams this tactic seems not to be reliable, still. By knowing the Clarity Grade Standard of a diamond you will be guided.

Category 2: Diamonds which are definitely clear.

A. Start on investing flawless diamonds, gives you a good start. It should be really flawless internally and externally.

B. VS1 and VS2 are the recommended highest grade one could wear

C. SI1- it is simply named as it is because it has little problems which will not give any difference to its appearance.

Buying a diamond can be really tricky. Be very sensitive when it comes with this. You must be paying for its worth as possible. Be smart than its sellers, jewelers used to trick people for their own benefit.

For you to be able to enjoy what you are spending for regardless if its for your collection or simply for accessory purposes to yourself or home, you should everything that you should know in buying one.

Some are very regardless when it comes to this matter. They used to be or sometimes as always tend to be an impulsive buyer which should everyone avoid. They are like somewhat attracted to a light, what seems to be appealing to their eyes, they buy it at ones without even taking in consideration the quality itself.

In buying precious jewelry such as diamonds extra precautions should be observe, so that you will not find it to be just wasting both of your money and time but enjoying it more than you've expected to enjoy it
